On May 12, 2021 The Society received the news that, with the help of SCOA, the AKC Board of Directors had voted to allow Salukis from the SPDBS Registry to be able to obtain PAL numbers without being spayed or neutered.

This allows your SPDBS registered Saluki to compete in AKC Companion and Performance events once a PAL number is obtained.

You MUST submit a copy (front and back) of your SPDBS Registration certificate when you apply for your PAL number.

We recommend you apply for your PAL number as soon as you get your certificate. The Registrar will be happy to send you the two needed photographs from your critique photograph submission.
